We hope to achieve more financial self-sufficiency. Our aim in future is to be less dependent on outside sponsorship.
We intend to purchase a large tract of land in order to grow more fruits and vegetables. This will also bring income when sold on the local market. In the near future we will also consider purchasing another house, where the older children will be able to stay. This will give us the opportunity to take another 50 children from the state children's home in our present home.

It is our responsibility to prepare the children to become active citizens in the society in the future. To this end we would like to start a Skills Training Center where the children can learn basic computer skills and such practical skills as carpentry, auto-repair, electrical skills etc. This facility will give the opportunity for our children as well as children from other children's homes to better prepare themselves for active participation in the society.
While it is our intention to move towards greater financial self-sufficiency in the future, at present we still need the generosity of kind donors. It is only with your support that we can continue to help the children. Where there was no hope of any kind of future for many children in 1993, 5 years later their horizons have broadened; they are ready to take their place as respectable members of our society. We would like to continue to broaden the horizons of little children through your help. You can help us to do it by completing the sponsorship form. |
